Consumer accessibility information

Hard-to-open packaging and hard to use products can have a daily impact on how you live your life. From medicine packaging that can’t be opened through to layers of difficult packaging impairing your ability to make a meal unassisted. The Accessible Design Division is working to improve products and packaging to meet your abilities.

  • Introduction to Easy to Open & Ease of Use Programs

Products that carry the Easy to Open or Ease of Use Certification logos are products that may benefit consumers with arthritis, such as mild osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Ease of Use Certified products

Arthritis Australia’s Ease of Use Certification recognises products that make life easier for people who have arthritis and other physical limitations.

  • Easy to Open Certified packaging

View Easy to Open (ETO) certified packaging.
