Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) Consumer Care guide
Arthritis Australia has launched a new Consumer Care Guide for juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), funded by the Australian Government.
Co-designed with parents of children with JIA, the Guide is intended to empower families to manage your child’s condition, and navigate the health system. It includes tips from real parents for every age and stage.
The Guide also introduces the Australian JIA Clinical Care Standards, what they mean for your child’s care, and how you can advocate to improve care. An updated version of the Clinical Care Standard is due to be released soon, and stay tuned for an update to the Guide to reflect this.
