Find below a general guide on how to apply for our research grants. Follow the steps to apply for either a fellowship, scholarship, project grant or grant in aid.
IMPORTANT NOTICE for Fellowships and Scholarship applications:
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, some internationally-based Fellowships & and Scholarships may be subject to travel restrictions and / or Institution closures. As a result, some of our regular research funding has been affected and may not be available.
We recommend that you check the Arthritis Australia website for updates on the status of funding, prior to the closing date, and before you submit your application.
Please also ensure that your grant application includes a contingency plan for undertaking you grant activity within Australia, should this be necessary.
1. Grant application deadlines
Call for applications for the 2021 round of funding will be available on our website April 2020 for all awards.

3. Locate, download, print and fill the respective application form.
Different research grants require different application forms. Below are the forms you will need for specific grants:
2021 Fellowships Scholarships application form Closing date 17 July 2020

Completed applications should be submitted to Arthritis Australia as an email attachment.
Email your completed form to: [email protected] or the respective email mentioned on the application form’s cover page.
Late or incomplete application forms will not be accepted
